Wooden business card case, vertical/CHCM01/STORIO
From the "Hyakunen Monogatari Project," a mechanism for building an international brand originating from the region under the theme of "a tool for maintaining and passing on a lifestyle and culture to be cherished 100 years from now," this business card case is made of solid maple wood in a compact size using bending techniques and material strengthening treatment.
■Using the springiness of the wood, it opens instantly when the clasp is released, and the business cards inside can be taken out smoothly.
The inside is made of genuine leather, and although it is a thin wooden business card case, it can hold up to 30 business cards.
The maple trees used to be grown for firewood in the satoyama in Niigata, Japan, and we search for standing trees suitable for bending, cut down, and milled. Each piece has a different expression, and the softness of the solid wood is maintained.
