Charity event "FOR NOTO" to support Noto Peninsula earthquake recovery efforts
In response to the Noto Peninsula earthquake on New Year's Day, 2024, we will participate in a charity event organized by the artist herself, who makes things in Kanazawa, and a couple who run a store in Gifu that collects handcrafted goods from around the world, for the relief of the affected areas and victims.
The works donated by the artists will travel in two groups to 15 locations over the course of one year, visiting the endorsing stores throughout Japan where they will be sold.
GOOD DESIGN STORE TOKYO by NOHARA Marunouchi will be cooperating with the sales for a limited time. We hope you will visit our store and enjoy the short time it will be open.

The charity event "FOR NOTO" held from April 16 to 30, 2024 to support the recovery from the Noto Peninsula earthquake has ended thanks to your warm support.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who visited our store and cooperated with the event.
We are pleased to report that the total amount of sales during the event, ¥112,820 (excluding tax), will be donated in full to the following two organizations.

Hokuriku Mirai Fund
This is a fund to support NPOs and other organizations engaged in support activities in the disaster-stricken areas. The fund provides grants to local NPOs and other groups engaged in disaster relief activities. The fund provides medium- to long-term support not only during the emergency period, but also during the recovery and reconstruction periods.
