JASPER MORRISON Interior Design A product designer born in London in 1959. After graduating from the Royal College of Art in London, he studied design in Berlin and established the design firm Office for Design in 1986. Based in London, Paris and Tokyo, he works on projects with companies all over the world. |
Masaaki Hiromura Graphic Designer Born in Aichi Prefecture. Established Hiromura Design Office in 1988. Focusing on graphic design, he works on CI, VI planning, and sign design for art museums, commercial and educational facilities. His main work includes art direction for Yokosuka Museum of Art, Sumida Aquarium, 9h Nine Hours, Tokyo Station Gallery, National Taichung Theater, Artizon Museum, Sogo Seibu, and Loft. His publications include "What Design Can Do, What Design Should Do"/ADP, "From Design to Design"/ADP, and others. |
Yamada Yu Shop Production | MD | VMD Born in Tokyo. After working as a buyer at IDEE SHOP in Minami-Aoyama, he launched method in 2007 and began working as a freelance buyer. He is currently the CEO of method Inc. In 2013, "Special Edition Discover Japan: Lifestyle Specialty Stores" was released by Ei Publishing, and in 2014, "Methods for Successful Shops that Sell with Design and Taste" was released by Seibundo Shinkosha. |
Masato Hatanaka Sound Designer Composer and sound designer. With the concept of sound haute couture, he crosses various fields such as advertising, theater, architectural spaces, and products with "music" and "sound". He started his professional career in Sapporo in 1995. In 2002, he moved to Hamburg and worked on a large number of ballet scores. After returning to Japan in 2004, he has been active in Tokyo and Sapporo. His works include the Lexus International Gallery Aoyama in 2008, the Milan Salone "CANON NEOREAL WONDER" in 2011, the ISSEY MIYAKE Paris Collection, the Tokyo Skytree Tembo Galleria in 2012, and the Kasuga Taisha Shrine National Treasure Hall in 2016. |
