This cast-iron teapot retains heat well and does not get cold easily. The spout is thin and drains well, and the surface is made using a sandy-skin technique handed down from the tea ceremony boa. Heating is not possible (only heat-retention warmers are available).

Price varies depending on size.

We have designed an easy-to-use teapot that is suited to modern lifestyles, making use of traditional materials.

The surface of the body was designed to resemble the shape of a tea urn, using a technique of sandy skin inherited from tea kettles, which is one of the features of Japanese iron castings.

The inside is enameled to prevent rusting. The spout in particular is thinly finished by hand, and the aim was to create a teapot that is easy to pour and use, pursuing good drainage.
