Each mug is produced by a different potter (craftsman) in each region of Japan using local materials and the same design. This mug has an internal shape that creates fine bubbles (crema) that lock in the aroma of coffee.

Nagaremon ware ( Aizu Misato-cho, Onuma-gun, Fukushima Prefecture )

Nagashiyu" is the characteristic of Nagashiyu, which is melted and flowed in a high-temperature kiln. The simple and functional shape of the "mug that will last a lifetime" is painted with a variety of patterns, and each piece has a rich individuality.

Aizu Hongo Yaki

Aizu Hongo Yaki refers to ceramics and porcelain produced in the Aizu Misato-cho area of Fukushima Prefecture. It is said to have started about 420 years ago, when the feudal lord Ujiro Gamo invited tile makers from Harima Province and had them bake tiles for the reconstruction of Tsurugajo Castle. Later, as the tea ceremony became popular, many kilns were established in the Aizu Misato Town area.

Ryumon Pottery

Ryumon-yaki pottery is created with the wish to "keep the natural spirit of the clay as much as possible. The glaze melts and flows in the kiln, which is heated to more than 1,000 degrees Celsius, creating various patterns.
