A new steak knife that combines functionality and design

The elegant and delicate ripple pattern of the Ryusenwa blade

Echizen Uchihamono (Echizen Uchihamono cutlery) in Fukui Prefecture has 700 years of traditional skills and history, and was the first cutlery production area in Japan to be designated as a national traditional craft in 1979. Ryusen blades are not only sharp, but also beautiful and easy to use.

Handle with "gentle texture" and "beautiful grain

Two types of handles are carefully selected: "Cocobolo," which is native to Central and South America and is characterized by beautiful grain lines that change to a deep, dark color over time, and "Victoria," which has an attractive reddish bark that belongs to the eucalyptus family.
The two pieces are carved from the same piece of solid wood and used for the handles on both sides, creating a sense of unity in color and grain line.

Charm of aging

One of the pleasures of natural wood is the change in the color of the wood surface. The color of both Victoria and Cocobolo wood will become deeper and darker as time goes by. By the time you can feel the change in color, it will become even more your favorite and one-of-a-kind.
