Characteristics of Echu Washi (Yatsuo Washi)
Originally, Yatsuo washi was not used for writing, but was manufactured as paper to be processed and used for bags used by medicine vendors in Toyama.
Kayakusha has stubbornly maintained this traditional manufacturing method, and it is our pleasure to create washi products that use its sturdiness and impress our customers.
■ The outside and inside are made of washi paper, and the fine wrinkles prevent business cards from slipping off. Above all, it is lightweight, and the more you use it, the more comfortable it becomes in your hand. It is also perfect for creating a topic of conversation when exchanging business cards.
Because large-size Japanese paper is used, the pattern may vary from piece to piece. Also, the color may vary slightly due to the hand-dyeing process.
