The village has received the Good Design Award in 2024 for its "Entrepreneurial Monozukuri Juku" system, which provides technical and budgetary support for the development of products born from the village's climate and lifestyle, and for communicating the attractiveness of home-made products, while accompanying the villagers in their "wish to do something" and giving shape to their product line.
