World Map Drawing AuthaGraph World Map/AuthaGraph Puzzle
The AuthaGraph is a world map created in the 16th century that shows the entire globe accurately and without distortion of size or shape, compensating for the shortcomings of conventional maps. The AuthaGraph is the invention of a new cartographic method that allows any place in the world to be the center of the map, and the flow of time to be represented.
AuthaGraph Puzzle consists of 24 pieces. If you are not familiar with geography or with the new map projection called AuthaGraph, you can assemble the puzzle by referring to the map on the stainless steel base plate. Once assembled, the pieces can be shifted to create different maps centered on different regions. You can also rotate some of the pieces to create triangles, rhombuses, wider rectangles, and more elongated rectangles.
■The base plate can be attached with legs and can be placed like a photo frame. It can also be used as a room interior decoration.
