The book provides an insight into 16 food production sites in Japan and Italy, including wine in Calema Village, lemons in Amalfi, soy sauce in Shodoshima, sake in Taki Town, and more. The book provides architectural questions and clues to restore food production and human life in harmony with the rhythm of nature, including terraced fields built of masonry that store heat, turrets that let in the wind, and windows that let in light and humidity.

Tomoki Shoda

Born in Chiba, Japan in 1990. Graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology with a degree in architecture. Studied abroad at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, 2016-17. Currently working as a company employee.
