The light appearance of the bowl seems as if it might topple over, yet it feels solid and stable when held in the hand. The delicate modeling created by boldly combining Mizume-zakura and brass, which have contrasting weights and textures, is the result of the skills of the roroku craftsmen of Takaoka Copperware and Nakayama Lacquerware.
