▪️ Feel the long historyBamboo grass design by "underglaze copperplate technique
Create a thin, thin layer of white porcelain clay. The clay is fired thoroughly. The texture of the porcelain is born from the thinness of the clay. The thinness of the porcelain allows it to be slightly translucent, and the white body of the vessel, like a scene seen through a shoji (paper sliding door), is decorated with bamboo grass using the "underglaze copperplate technique," which was developed from the copperplate transfer underglaze technique tried by Risenyaki in Mizunami City about 150 years ago. Please enjoy the nostalgic tactile feeling of the clay when you touch and use it.

▪️The bamboo grass pattern appears to float with a slight transparency.
White porcelain clay is made into a thin layer and fired at a high temperature of 1,340°C. The thinness of the clay makes it slightly translucent. Because of the thinness of the clay, the slightly translucent, floating bamboo grass pattern reminds one of a scene seen through a shoji paper sliding door. You will enjoy the nostalgic tactile feeling of the clay when you touch and use it.
