All Mastro Geppetto toys are manufactured in the Minamiaizu region of Fukushima Prefecture. As the birthplace of "akabeko" and "akagari koboshi," local toys have long been made in this area. This is a new brand born in this region, which has a strong foundation of toy tradition and history. In the planning and development of our products, we have adopted sophisticated designs that can be played with for a long time and have interior design and communicative power, and we have made them safe and of high quality with high domestic technical capabilities. ■Wood used for toys is selected during product development to take advantage of the "warmth, texture, color, weight, aroma, and sound" characteristics of each tree. Maple is used for rattles and building blocks. The transparent surface of the wood is silky to the touch, and the high specific gravity of the wood prevents it from falling off or cracking even if a baby chews on it. Mastro Geppetto's wood is made from scrap wood left over from furniture production in the woodworking industry, and is used as much as possible from an ecological point of view. The plywood is made from Ecosila plywood, which is made from thinned birch wood from Hokkaido, Japan.
