The typeface chosen for the 2026 calendar is Dempsey Medium.
With its emphasis on circles, Dempsey Medium is a geometric typeface with a free and playful spirit, as evidenced by the "0" and "8," and is a fun typeface that evokes the London culture of 1969, when the typeface was designed. In keeping with the atmosphere of the typeface, the color of the nichidama is blue, and the paper is cream-colored.
The color of the blue and the color of the paper are different to match the visibility of the wall-hanging type and the table-top type.
