2027 Typeface Calendar “Souvenir Bold” / Wall Calendar / D-BROS
A calendar that highlights the beauty and charm of the typeface itself. The typeface for 2027 is “Souvenir Bold.”
Souvenir features subtle weight contrasts, and each stroke is slightly rounded. True to its name—which means “souvenir”—it is one of Benton’s typefaces that conveys a particularly friendly impression.
It was created in 1914 by the American Maurice Fuller Benton. Benton scientifically analyzed readability and placed great importance on the functional role of typefaces in widespread societal use. As a result, he introduced numerous classic typefaces that remain popular to this day.
