KAPPOGI-103/Kurume Kasuri/ eel bed
As a dress for working at home or going out
KAPPOGI is a kappogi that is worn completely over a kimono, like a kappogi, which was used for housework or outside work.
Deep slash pockets on both sides.
The sleeves are designed for easy everyday use, and pockets are provided on both sides. It is also loose-fitting so that it can be quickly put on over the top, and buttons are attached at the neck for easy on/off.
Ribbed cuffs for a clean look at hand
The cuffs are ribbed with cotton material for ease of movement when working. The sleeve length can also be adjusted by rolling up the ribs.

Kurume Kasuri is soft on the skin and has a rich expression.
KAPPOGI's Kurume Kasuri fabric is made by Kubo Kasuri Orimono in Chikugo City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and is woven slowly using an old-fashioned shuttle loom that is over 60 years old, which means that the yarn is not overloaded, resulting in a soft and textured fabric. The more you use it, the more comfortable it becomes.
As a local cultural trading company in the Chikugo region of southern Fukuoka Prefecture, the company delves into the local character and history of the region and the background behind the creation of its products, and engages in activities that connect makers and users. MONPE", which was created through dialogue with the makers, won the 2016 Good Design Award.
