Hirota Glass was founded in Tokyo in 1899. Hirota Glass was founded in Tokyo in 1899 and is one of the oldest glass manufacturers in Tokyo. The glass manufacturing process introduced from Europe in the modern era has been fused with the Japanese sense of beauty, and has brought about the flowering of uniquely Japanese designs. Hirota Glass has continued to produce products that harmonize with modern interiors by inheriting traditional handcrafted manufacturing techniques such as Edo faceting and blown glass, based on valuable design documents handed down in the company since its foundation.
