Hair Extraction Tweezers/TC-801/MARUTO

Design work inspired by "butterfly and dragonfly wings" and "bird feathers". The precision machining of the tip is the decisive factor in these tweezers for hair removal. The slight curve and angle of the blade tip are key points of the design.

Maruto Hasegawa Kosakusho

Founded in 1924, Maruto Hasegawa Kosakusho has grown in the tradition of local blacksmithing. Sanjo City in Niigata Prefecture has been a major production center of metal products in Japan since the Edo period. Its cutlery, in particular, is known for its high quality and is now recognized overseas as the "Sanjo Japan Brand. This tradition of cutlery manufacturing has been passed down from generation to generation in Maruto Hasegawa.

Hyakunen Monogatari (100 Year Old Story)
This is a project to create a mechanism for building an international brand originating from the local community under the theme of "tools for maintaining and passing on a lifestyle and culture that we want to cherish even 100 years from now. The project is building a system from product development to sales with the aim of "building a system to create and support a better lifestyle and culture by providing the world with the power of Niigata, Japan, as a production center" under the themes of small-lot production, personalized service, and long life, rather than mass consumption, for the global environmental age. This mark certifies that the products have the concept and quality of "Hyakunen Monogatari" (100-year story).
