Surveying ledger/KOKUYO
This notebook was developed in the wake of the enactment of the Survey Act.
It features a hard cover that allows writing while standing outdoors and a size that fits in a pocket. Today, the notebook is used in a wide range of outdoor activities and as a notebook.
Long seller for more than 60 years since its launch
The product was developed in response to the growing needs of surveyors in the field, which were triggered by the enactment of the Survey Act in 1949, 10 years before the product was released. It is a rare product whose design has remained almost unchanged from the time of its launch, except for specification changes to improve quality.
Developed for outdoor use and for surveying
A hard cover was adopted to make it easy to write with one hand outdoors and to make it durable. The size was set so that it would fit in the pocket of a field worker's work clothes.
In town, in the mountains, or on vacation
Although originally designed for surveying, the product has been used for many purposes other than surveying since its launch, such as memo, diary, and sketchbook. Today, many people use it for pocketbooks, scrapbooks, red seal books, etc., and its usage has expanded.
