The cast iron teapot has a high heat retention property and does not get cold easily. The spout is thin and drains well, and the surface is made with a sandy-skin technique that has been handed down from the tea ceremony kettle.
Heating is not possible (only the heat-retention warmer is available).

Price varies depending on size.

We have designed an easy-to-use teapot that is suited to modern lifestyles, making use of traditional materials.

The surface of the body was designed to resemble the shape of a tea urn, using the traditional technique of "suna-kohin," which is a characteristic of Japanese iron castings and has been used in tea ceremony kettles.

The inside is enameled to prevent rusting. The spout in particular is thinly finished by hand, and the aim was to create a teapot that is easy to pour and use, pursuing good drainage.
