Wooden tableware NP series/NPD_Round

This series of plywood tableware is durable, lightweight, and washable. The plywood tableware series is made of natural wood, which is durable enough not to crack even if dropped, and has a surface treatment that prevents moisture and oil from penetrating the wood, making it safe for daily use.

Plywood is made by layering thin sheets of wood called veneer, crimping, and forming. Although it is often thought of as a manufacturing process with many industrial elements, it is carefully and meticulously produced through a number of manual processes. The simple warmth of the products is a testament to the handcrafting process.

Made in Japan in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture. The material used is linden wood of proven origin (currently produced in Hokkaido). The adhesive is also made in Japan with excellent durability and safety.

■Surface finish, the key to water resistance, uses a Japanese-made coating with excellent functionality against stains, chemicals, and scratches. Of course, it has passed the Food Sanitation Law.

■ Gold Craft vessels have been subjected to 3,000 cycles of washing in a commercial dishwashing machine at an industrial testing facility without any change in the product, confirming that there is no concern about water resistance at all. The plywood (molded plywood) has moderate tenacity, so it will not crack even if dropped accidentally. While maintaining the lightness and atmosphere of wood, it is durable and water-resistant. Gold Craft's tableware can be handled on the same level as other porcelain tableware at the dinner table.
