EVENT｜Bed of eels - 2026 Spring
The " eel beds " that connect local culture in the Chikugo region of southern Fukuoka Prefecture, from the operation of an antenna store that connects makers and users to the dissemination of information, received the Good Design Award for "MONPE" in 2016.
Kurume Kasuri has a wide variety of "colors and patterns" of fabrics and the "techniques" to express them. We have prepared MONPE with a focus on "iroha monpe" to convey the breadth and depth of Kurume-gasuri that cannot be conveyed by standard monpe alone.
